Daycare options in Apopka or Altamonte Springs with low staff-to-infant ratio?

I'm a German expat living in Orlando, expecting a baby in a few months and looking for a daycare in Apopka or Altamonte Springs with a low staff-to-infant ratio, non-smoking staff and facility, cameras for parents to view, and an open-door policy. I'm open to a long waitlist since I'm still pregnant and planning ahead.

Our almost four-year-old attends Creative World UCF. They also have locations in Apopka and Altamonte. We've had a great experience at the UCF location, and the staff is wonderful. I'm not aware of any larger daycares that offer live video viewing for security purposes. The infant-to-employee ratio is something I'm not sure about, but they do meet other requirements. We highly recommend Creative World.

Park Maitland and The JCC are both excellent facilities with long-term teachers who have been there for years. They have a very safe environment.

Park Maitland is a very expensive school, but it's an amazing facility with a lot to offer.

I agree that budget is an important consideration, but I'm not sure if OP included it in their requirements. Some schools do offer discounts based on employers, so it's worth inquiring about.

I don't think Park Maitland offers infant daycare, which is what our child needs. I've scheduled a tour with Primrose to explore other options.

They have a location in Park Maitland South and a preschool in Winter Park. I would recommend starting with the preschool.

We toured six different facilities in Orlando and found that the ratio was 4:1 at all of them, which is the legal requirement. However, we didn't see any places with a lower ratio. One facility that stood out was Ladybird Academy, which had a camera feed that parents could watch.

I've worked at a few facilities in the Orlando area. I would advise against Young Innovators in Winter Garden, as the front staff can be rude and don't enforce strict rules about sick children. I was forced to work long hours without breaks while pregnant, and I was eventually fired. I also had a negative experience with Erika Segar, who I would strongly advise against. Additionally, I would avoid La Petite on Old Winter Garden Road, as they lack respect for children and parents, and the teachers often get away with wrongdoing.
