Traffic from Bella Vista to FSU Panama: is it really that bad?

I'm planning to move to Bella Vista with my partner and I'll be studying at FSU Panama. I'm trying to find a more affordable apartment, but I'm worried about the traffic. Is it really that bad to live in Bella Vista while studying at FSU?

No, it's not that bad. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get to FSU by car, even with traffic at 6am.

Bella Vista is a pretty central neighborhood, you can take the Metro to Albrook and then the bus to Miraflores, Merca Panamá, or Ciudad del Saber. It shouldn't take more than 40-50 minutes to get to FSU by public transportation.

If you don't want to spend a lot of time in traffic, you might want to consider moving closer to FSU. I live in Bella Vista and I have to deal with weekday traffic, but I also have to pay a bit more for Uber rides to get to FSU during the week.

Maybe you could consider finding a roommate to split the cost of living in Bella Vista. It's not the worst neighborhood, but it's not the best either. Calidonia might be an option, but it has its pros and cons.

Traffic is a challenge, but it's not impossible. You can move closer to the university or look into public transportation options.
