The ports are open, but beachgoers need to exercise caution.

The Ports Are Open and Tours Resume

The marina is back in business! After being shut down due to heavy swells from Hurricane Marie, the local port authority has lifted the restrictions. Boat charters, catamarans, and other water tours are now operational.

Beach Openings and Safety Precautions

While the marina is open, beach access is still limited. Black flags indicate areas where swimming is prohibited. Check the flags before you hit the shore. San José del Cabo has seen significant improvements, but Cabo San Lucas is still dealing with lingering surf and debris.

Debris and Runoff Cleanup

Storm runoff and floating debris are causing temporary water quality issues. Municipal crews are working hard to clear the streets and the water, but it may take a bit longer for the ocean to fully recover. Always check the warning flags before entering the water.

Downtown Cleanup Nearly Complete

The downtown area is nearly back to normal. Streets are being cleared, and major infrastructure is recovering. While minor clean-up crews may still be working, the resort infrastructure is almost fully operational.
