200 Hectares Protected for Hiking and Conservation in El Sargento
Hey Los Cabos residents and digital nomads, I’m excited to share some great news: a significant 200 hectares of land in El Sargento are now being protected for hiking and conservation. This is the result of an agreement between the ejido El Sargento, its Anexo La Ventana, and civil organizations, establishing a 20-year ecological servitude in an area with over 40 kilometers of trails.

This move is a win-win for nature lovers and hikers. It means more trails for you to explore, while also ensuring the preservation of the local flora and fauna. Imagine strolling through lush landscapes, enjoying the fresh air, and contributing to the conservation of this beautiful region. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, making it a perfect spot for eco-tourism and outdoor enthusiasts.
The protected area will also help connect the territory, benefiting both people and wildlife. For us expats and digital nomads, this means more opportunities to engage in outdoor activities, while supporting the local community's efforts to maintain the natural beauty of the region.
