Will diving be any good next week in Los Cabos?

I'm planning to go scuba diving next week in Los Cabos, but we're arriving after the storms and I'm not sure if the conditions will be good. We've never dived in the area after a storm, so I'm looking for advice on what to expect.

Heavy rainfall has carried pollutants into the bay, making it unwise to swim in the water.

Fecal matter is likely present in the water due to the rain runoff. This is true for most areas, regardless of the destination. Another storm system is developing, potentially bringing more rain to Baja. Although the current forecast suggests the storm will pass east of the region, there's still a risk of additional rain and turbulent weather. Hopefully, the storm will veer off course and spare Baja a direct hit.

Cabo Pulmo would be good to dive even after the rain. The water quality there is generally better than in the bay, and it's a bit more protected from the open ocean. I've dived there after storms and had no issues. It's worth considering if you're looking for a safe and enjoyable dive.
