I'm looking for a place that offers in-person Spanish Sign Language classes. I'd really appreciate any recommendations.

Signed languages are their own distinct languages, not simply a matter of using one's hands to convey English or Spanish. Each signed language has its own grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.

Sign language is not universal, and different countries have their own distinct sign languages. For example, in Puerto Rico, there's Puerto Rican Sign Language (Lenguaje de Señas de Puerto Rico or PRSL/LSPR), while in the US, it's ASL. Even within the same country, different regions may have their own dialects. For instance, the deaf community in Orocovis may use a variation of PRSL that differs from the standard sign language used elsewhere in Puerto Rico.
