TSA Experience at Hobby Airport?

TSA Experience at Hobby Airport?
교통 3 answers • Rowan Pemberton
I'm flying out of Hobby Airport for the first time and I'm going solo. I have a lot of anxiety about it, so I'm trying to prepare myself for the TSA experience. I think I'm good with packing, but I'm not sure what to expect at the airport.

When going through security, be mindful of liquid container sizes in your carry-on luggage. If you have large water bottles, consider emptying them before reaching the security checkpoint. Just follow the lead of the people in front of you in the security line.

If you're carrying large electronics, make sure they're easily accessible in case you need to remove them quickly.

Upon arrival at the airport, head to the check-in area to obtain your boarding pass or a luggage tag. You can either drop off your luggage at the designated counter or proceed to the security checkpoint. Make sure to have your Texas Real ID ready. Then, join the security line and wait for your turn with the TSA agent. They'll scan your ID or boarding pass, and you'll be allowed to proceed to the scanner area. Place your carry-on and personal items in a plastic bin, and remove your shoes and belt if you're not TSA pre-check. Once you've cleared the scanner, you can put everything back on and continue to your gate.
