I've been looking for a place to spend time with cats in DFW. I've visited my local animal shelter a few times, but I feel bad wasting their time and resources. Can anyone recommend a cat cafe or a place where I can volunteer to spend time with cats?

If you're looking for a unique experience, consider visiting a cat cafe in the area. One is located in the Music City Mall, and another can be found in Arlington. Alternatively, you could lend a hand at a local animal shelter, which would surely be appreciated by the staff and animals alike.

If you're interested in volunteering, you might want to look into partnering with a local animal welfare organization or a no-kill shelter.

My friend has been volunteering at an animal shelter for years and continues to do so, which suggests that the experience is rewarding for them.

Local animal welfare organizations, such as those that provide no-kill shelters, are often in need of support and volunteers to help care for the animals.
