I'm desperate for hair care tips in Bali, where the sun and saltwater are taking a toll on my hair. I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to be working.

Leave-in conditioners are your saviour. I use them every time I wash my hair and they help keep my locks moisturized and healthy-looking.

Don't tan too much, it's not good for your hair either. UV radiation can cause damage and dryness, so try to limit your time in the sun, especially during peak hours.

To protect your hair in Bali, minimize exposure to harsh UV rays and sea water, and dry your hair thoroughly after showering. I also use a filter shower head to reduce chlorine and mineral content in my water. For damaged hair, I recommend using a hair treatment as a conditioner, a leave-in hair conditioner spray, and a hair oil. Surfers should wet their hair before surfing and use conditioner regularly.

After swimming in the pool or at Kuta Beach, rinse your hair thoroughly. I also use hair masks during washing, and go to a salon for a cream bath treatment. The Fibretherapy range is great for conditioning products, and my hair seems to do well with the water in Bali - it's always super shiny when I wash it.

Have you tried Ellips hair vitamins? They come in little capsules that you break off and apply directly to your hair. I've found them to be really helpful in keeping my hair healthy and strong.
