I was reading about a recent incident where a driver became wedged in an I-20 overpass and I'm still trying to visualize what happened. I'd love to know more about the details of the accident.

The car was coming from a curved road above the underpass, where there's a road that curves over the top. They were driving around it and lost control, which led to the accident.

There are gaps between the concrete beams that the car is stuck in. It appears they fell from above, and the angle of the photo makes it hard to see the gaps. Some aerial footage from 11alive made it clearer.

It seems like the driver may have been in an area that was closed off with ropes. Then they fell between the beams. I hope they did a blood alcohol test, because that would be unbelievable.
