Why isn't there a mall in Chilibre?

Why isn't there a mall in Chilibre?

Chilibre is part of the Panama district and feels outdated. I think it would be great to have a mall there, considering the area has a lot of space and a large population. For example, Los Andes Mall was a good investment for that area, and having a mall in Chilibre could bring more employment opportunities.

I agree. I've always wondered why they don't have a 99 or Xtra store there.

They still don't have bank branches in areas where they've opened new locations.

What about smaller stores that only sell a few items, instead of the larger ones?

It seems like we're living in the interior of the city, and with the number of people living in this area, it would make sense to have a mall of our own.

Actually, Chilibre needs a high-frequency suburban train that extends to Colón so people can easily get around and don't have to suffer with transportation.

What's the purchasing power of the population in the Chilibre area? It's not just about the number of people, but also whether they would continuously buy from that shopping center. Second, access. They're barely expanding the road, where would the mall be located? How would people get there? That's a private investment, so these are questions that need to be answered before investing.
