I'm planning a trip to Paso de Cortés with some friends who are in good physical condition. We have a car to drive there. I'm looking for recommendations on the best route to take and any other tips you might have.

You can drive to the Parque Ecológico Apatlaco, a popular tourist spot with great views. If you don't want to hike to the top of any mountains, you can just walk along the trails and enjoy the waterfalls and scenic views. The park also features a variety of plant species.

I recommend taking the route from Paso de Cortés to La Joya, where you'll find a base camp with bathrooms and food vendors. The views are stunning, and you can see the surrounding landscape from this point. You can also see the nearby mountains from this base camp.
