Do they check medication at the airport when you fly into Los Cabos?

We're visiting Cabo in a few weeks and I have to take several prescriptions. I've read that I need to have letters from my doctors confirming my prescriptions, and that prescriptions need to be in their original bottles. Due to space, I'm worried about bringing them in their original bottles. Have my doctors preparing letters just in case. Is this ever checked?

I've never had any problems with bringing medications into Los Cabos. To stay organized, I use a travel pill container with dividers to separate my medications. The container has been thoroughly checked by security, but they've never even looked inside.

We've visited Los Cabos twice, and both times we've packed our prescription medications in our regular weekly pill boxes. We didn't bring any original bottles or doctor's notes, but we still had zero issues or comments from security.
