57 New Vendor Spaces Open for Independence Day in Cabo San Lucas
The municipality of Cabo San Lucas is gearing up for its Independence Day celebrations, opening 57 new vendor spaces for food and craft stalls. As a bike rental owner, I've seen firsthand how these events can bring in both locals and tourists, making it a great opportunity for vendors to earn some extra income. This year, the event runs from September 13 to 15, and interested vendors can apply at the Pabellón Cultural de la República or Plaza Tres Vírgenes.
There are two types of commercial spaces available: fixed booths, which cost 1,500 pesos for the entire weekend, and semi-fixed setups, which cost 700 pesos for the three-day period. Both options include a commercial license and security patrols for the event. The municipality is emphasizing the importance of security and public order, so it's a good idea for vendors to be aware of these measures.
Space assignments are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's best to act quickly if you're interested. While the event is organized to keep things secure, foot traffic is expected to be high, so it's important for vendors to be prepared for a busy weekend.
