New School Opens Its Doors in Ahuachapán: A Milestone for Local Students
It’s been a year since the government of El Salvador, under President Nayib Bukele, made a commitment to the community in Los Toles, Ahuachapán, and now, thanks to their dedication, a new school has opened its doors. The inauguration of this modern educational facility not only brings hope to the students but also marks a significant step forward in the development of the area.
During the ceremony, Miguel Martínez, representing the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), highlighted that the construction was completed exactly one year after the initial announcement. “Today, we fulfill a promise made a year ago to the community of Los Toles. Now, these young people have a modern school to call their own,” said Martínez.
The new school is just one part of a larger project that also included the extension of a road project from eight to over 15 kilometers, benefiting more than 4,000 families and over 500 students. This improvement in infrastructure ensures a safer and more efficient journey to and from school, significantly impacting the daily lives of local residents.
The President himself emphasized the fulfillment of the promise made a year ago, expressing gratitude to all those involved. “We are here today to inaugurate not only two important works for the community but also to celebrate the fulfillment of a promise made exactly one year ago. Mission accomplished!”
