What's the deal with the 249 bus schedule?
I'm having trouble catching the 249 bus in the midday hours. It's supposed to run from 9 something to 2 something, but it never shows up at the scheduled stops. I always end up on the 247 instead.

Midday service routes on the 249 bus operate from approximately 9 am to 2 pm. Most routes ending in 9, which total around 200, offer midday service. However, if you're returning late, the route might have stopped running and you'll need to backtrack to your park and ride location. Downtown Houston can be quite congested, especially during rush hour, and I recall being stuck in traffic for nearly an hour, having to wait at eight traffic lights.
