Cancún Dials into Student Support with Massive Shoe Drive
Cancún, Mexico-The municipal government of Benito Juárez has launched a significant initiative to support students by delivering over 75,000 pairs of school shoes to public school students across 427 educational institutions. This initiative, named ‘Paso a Paso para la Transformación,’ aims to ease the financial burden on families and enhance students' educational experience.

During a visit to the Belisario Domínguez secondary school, Mayor Ana Paty Peralta unveiled the distribution of 226 pairs of shoes to students, underscoring the city’s commitment to bolstering educational resources. The program has already met over 64% of its target, with the remaining distribution set to continue until October 16th.
For expats and digital nomads in or visiting Cancún, this means more resources for local families and students. If you know anyone in the community, encourage them to take advantage of these support programs, ensuring that educational continuity is maintained even during challenging times.
