I went to Honeymoon Island state park today and the water is murky, I used to remember it being blueish, is there something going on at the west coast gulf by any chance?

After recent windy and rainy conditions, the water is likely to be murky. However, it usually takes a day or two for the water to settle and become clear again, often after the storm has passed and the sun comes out.
