Beats on the Street: A Free Music Festival in Tampa This Weekend

Water Street Tampa is gearing up for its annual Beats on the Street music festival, set to take place on September 26. The event will feature over 30 live performances, with new stages and expanded lineups, including the Grammy-nominated electronic duo Chromeo.

From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors can enjoy music across multiple genres, including indie rock, soulful jazz, and more, spread across seven stages. Two new stages, the Columbia Stage, will showcase Latin artists all day and night, while Predalina will host rotating DJ sets.

The event will benefit the Recycled Tunes Program, which provides musical instruments to kids in need. Attendees can also explore pop-up bars and engage in interactive experiences like a silent disco and a music-themed arts and visuals exhibit.

With Water Street's restaurants participating, organizers encourage early booking of reservations for patio dining, shopping, and sunset strolls. The festival is designed for all ages and offers a perfect backdrop for enjoying the transition from summer to fall in Tampa.
