Montreal's nightlife is about to get a serious upgrade with the return of Making Time, a cult electronic dance party that promises to be an epic event on October 3 at SAT. As a fellow expat who's still getting the hang of the city, this is one party I can't miss!

Making Time: A Psychedelic Electronic Dance Party Not to Be Missed in Montreal

Starting at 10 p.m., Making Time will keep the party going until 5 a.m., so be prepared for a long night of dancing and live AV shows. The event is divided into two spaces: the industrial dancefloor downstairs and the cocoon upstairs under the Satosphere dome. Each space offers a unique experience, with downstairs featuring house, disco, and techno, and upstairs providing a more experimental vibe with robots and soundscapes.

Key performers include Olof Dreijer, Dopplereffekt, Aurora Halal, OKO DJ, Dave P., Massimiliano Pagliara, and t-nex. Olof Dreijer, half of the Knife, will kick things off with his first-ever solo album, while Aurora Halal brings her dark and euphoric electro dance. Dave P., the creator of Making Time, will close out the night, blending personal dreams and futuristic philosophy.

Expect to wear comfortable shoes and bring a strong appetite for time-dissolving abandon. SAT tickets are $35, with a discounted rate of $25 before 11:30 p.m. Mark your calendars, as this is a party you won't want to miss!
