Why is Simple.sv not working?

I've been using Simple.sv to get police records and background checks for my friends and family, but recently one of them tried to use it and got a message saying their ID is expired and they need to renew it. They had renewed it just a month ago and no one is responding to their messages. I'm starting to doubt the site's maintenance and whether it's actually helping people avoid going in person to these places.

My experience with the online service was a total frustration. I ordered a police record and ended up going to the Ministry of Education because I needed to. The system isn't connected to anything at the ministry, and the guy told me that if I had done it through the site, it would have taken months, but if I did it in person, it would only take three days. It's no wonder that it's a facade with a lot of integrations and things hanging loose behind the scenes.

It's not surprising that you're having problems with the online service, given the big contracts they have with major tech companies and the cases like yours, including one where a person had to wait for months to get a record, but only took three days when done in person.

The customer service at Simple.sv is literally terrible. They treat you like dirt sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

That thing never works well. We have a colleague who's been having trouble with it, and all we can do is tell him to be patient.
