To buy a ticket for a lucha libre event in Mexico City, go to the Ticketmaster Mexico website and purchase one online. Upon arrival, be prepared for a security check, where you'll be patted down by police or security personnel. The area can get crowded, so keep a close eye on your belongings, especially your phone and wallet. When you arrive at the venue, an employee will escort you to your seat. It's customary to show appreciation for their service with a small tip, around 10 to 20 pesos. I usually opt for an aisle seat close to the action, but be aware that security personnel may sometimes obstruct your view. In my experience, I've found that seats in the middle of the row offer a better view. As a photographer, I was disappointed to learn that cameras are not allowed, but phones are permitted.

We took a tour that included a Mezcal tasting and then the lucha libre match. The tour was led by a knowledgeable guide who had trained with lucha libre and shared his experiences with us. As part of the tour, we were able to choose our own masks while walking to the venue. We had excellent seats at the venue. At the end of the tour, the guide ensured that everyone was safely picked up by Uber. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.
