I'm trying to find a good ENT specialist in north Dallas who works on Saturdays because I'm losing hearing due to a cold and I'm getting really worried about it.

I just visited a Minute Clinic. Given the current demand, it's unlikely you'll find an ENT available. If you need to see a doctor, you can try checking Zoc Doc.

I've had recurrent sinus infections, which led to a severe ear infection last year. It caused my jaw to lock up, and I had to seek medical attention. A general practitioner can prescribe ear drops, an anti-inflammatory antibiotic, and a nose spray. The ear drops can provide significant relief. In the short term, a GP can help with this issue.

You can try visiting an urgent care center. Some general practitioners work on weekends. If you go, ask for ear drops and doxycycline, a 100mg antibiotic taken twice a day. You may also want to request a steroid shot, but be aware that the cost is unknown.

I know it sounds unusual, but ear drops can be an effective treatment. You can visit an urgent care center, where a few general practitioners work on weekends. If you go, request ear drops and doxycycline, a 100mg antibiotic taken twice a day. Additionally, some urgent care centers may offer steroid shots, but the cost is unknown.

I had an ear infection earlier this year, and antibiotic ear drops helped alleviate my symptoms. The drops were effective in reducing the swelling and fluid buildup in my ears.

A general practitioner or a doctor at a minor medical center can diagnose an ear infection and prescribe antibiotics and steroids. Steroids can reduce swelling and fluid buildup in the ears, while antibiotics eliminate the bacteria causing the infection. It's essential to take all the antibiotics as prescribed to completely eliminate the bacteria.

Considering the severity of your condition, you may want to visit an urgent care center or a Minute Clinic. It's highly unlikely you'll find an ENT available on a Saturday.

As an internal medicine doctor, I agree that you don't need to see an ENT. Visiting an urgent care center, such as a Minute Clinic, would be a reasonable option. These centers are designed to handle straightforward diagnoses and may provide a prescription. If you need a surgical procedure, an ENT would be necessary.
