How can I volunteer to drive people to voting locations?
Services 2 answers • Jared Norwood
I'm a Houston resident looking to help others get to the polls, I've noticed some long-time residents seem to know about opportunities that I don't. I've been trying to find ways to make a difference in my community, and I'd like to volunteer to drive people to voting locations on election day in Harris county.

It might be too late to join this time, but a good approach is to link up with a local political club and collaborate with them. Organizing involves more than just identifying voters who need transportation; it requires weeks or months of planning to create a schedule and identify those who need help on election day.

When transporting more than 7 people on election day, you must submit a specific form, which is used to track information about the person providing transportation for curbside voting.
