Where to get gas without any funny business in Playa del Carmen?

I live in Playa del Carmen and I'm looking for recommendations on where to get gas. Are there particular gas stations that locals trust, giving you the full amount that you're paying for, with no scams or funny business at the pump.

To avoid being overcharged, make sure the gas pump is zeroed out before you start pumping. Simply hand over the money and confirm the amount once the transaction is complete.

Before filling up, review the group's guidelines to stay informed about common scams in Mexico. Be cautious when using credit cards, as they can be a target for scammers. When using a gas pump, ensure it's zeroed out before starting the transaction. Don't hand over any money until the process is 100% complete. Additionally, be mindful of your belongings when using taxis, and never let the driver touch your car until you've exited the vehicle and are watching.

As someone familiar with the gas stations in Merida, I've noticed that some pumps are set to deliver less gas than the price indicates, while others may use ethanol as a dilutant. I'm looking for information about gas stations in Playa del Carmen that might have similar issues.

Although I'm familiar with the situation in Cozumel, I don't have information about the gas stations in Playa del Carmen. If you're planning to visit, I recommend researching the local gas stations and their reputations to avoid any potential issues.

A particular gas station near the Centro Maya area, located at the roundabout leading to La Joya residential, has been known to have issues with their pumps. When using this station, be aware that the amount of gas dispensed may not match the price you pay. Be cautious when using your card, as the staff may not speak English.
