What time should I start the Iztaccíhuatl volcano hike to see the sunrise?

I'm considering a volcano hike and want to see the sunrise. I've seen some companies offering hikes that start at 2am to view the sunrise at 7 and come back at 2pm, but I've also seen others that start around 7am. I'm not sure which one is the best option.

I've done the hike several times, but I have to warn you that it's not an easy hike. It's physically demanding, several hours long, and with lots of elevation gain. Have you had experience with mountaineering or high altitude?

I've done the hike a few times, and I think it's best to start at around midnight to 2am to reach the summit by midnight. A 7am start isn't really a sunrise hike, and you'll miss out on the scenery. Also, be aware that it's over 5000m of altitude, and you'll need proper snow gear if it's snowing at the top.

I've done the hike without a guide, and I'm not sure if it's worth climbing in the dark for so long just to see the sunrise. You'll miss out on the scenery, and you'll be tired on the way down.
