We're considering installing solar panels and were approved for a 0% interest loan through Go Green financing, but we want to know if anyone has experience with it.

It's worth comparing the cash price to the finance price. The HVAC company likely charges you more to offset the benefits of the 0% interest loan.

The HVAC company didn't provide a cash price for the proposal. They mentioned using GoGreen, but the quote seems comparable to another company we met with.

With high interest rates, 0% financing sounds suspicious. To be sure, check your agreement carefully. If you're hesitant to share it, consider using an AI tool to review it for potential issues.

This is a legitimate state-subsidized loan.

This program appears to be a state-backed initiative, possibly involving utility companies and credit unions. Can you confirm the loan term is 10 years? Are there any upfront fees or points? There are other 0% loan products available without raising concerns.

I've been researching HVAC systems and was offered this program twice in the past week. It's a California state-funded initiative, partly aimed at addressing the loss of federal tax credits.

Keep in mind that you can't deduct the interest from this loan unless it's secured by your residence. If you want to potentially write off the interest, consider looking into a HELOC. Interest rates have been increasing.
