I was at a polling precinct in Miami recently and they led a group prayer before the polls opened. I'm not sure if it's okay or if I should quietly remove myself when it happens again.

I'm uncertain about the rules and regulations surrounding polling sites. While it's understandable that people might be enthusiastic about participating, it's not right to pressure someone into doing something that doesn't feel voluntary. If you politely decline if it happens again and aren't forced to join in, I'd suggest letting it go as a misstep.

No, it's not appropriate for someone to force their faith onto someone else, especially in a governmental function.

It would be considerate to let people pray in a quiet area, without drawing attention to themselves. This way, everyone can feel included and not feel awkward or left out.

If you don't want to participate, you're not obligated to do so. On the other hand, people who do want to can certainly express their faith. The beauty of living in this country is that we have the freedom to make our own choices.
