West Valley Mechanics or Someone Who Works on Cars?

West Valley Mechanics or Someone Who Works on Cars?
Dienste 8 answers • Olivia Prescott
I'm in need of a mechanic to replace my o2 sensor and engine coil packs in my '04 CRV. I'm looking for someone in the west valley who can do it at a good price, preferably a mobile mechanic or someone who works out of their own shop.

Replacing coil packs is a relatively straightforward process. You'll need a 10mm socket, which is commonly used for Honda models. Be prepared to spend some time disconnecting the electrical connectors, which can be a bit fiddly.

I'm considering replacing the coil packs myself. I've done some basic car maintenance in the past, but I'm more concerned about the oxygen sensor, which is connected to the catalytic converter. I'd hate for anything to go wrong there.

As long as the area isn't rusty, replacing the coil packs should be manageable. You might be able to rent an oxygen sensor tool from a local auto parts store.

If you're willing to DIY, check out rentaliftaz.com. They have a lift, all the tools you need, and you can even pay a little more to have a helper.

Woah, that's sick! Thank you!!

You could try posting an ad on a local job board or website, looking for someone to do the job. It's essentially a standard mechanic task, so someone might be willing to take it on.

Do you need to replace the upstream or downstream oxygen sensor? And which part of Phoenix are you located in?
