My girlfriend and I live in Phra Khanong and we're planning to leave by train for Nong Khai tomorrow on the 28th, but the flood water is still bad. We cancelled our ticket tonight as we read it may get better, but maybe it will get worse? We just can't be sure. Has anyone had any luck in contacting the tourism authority (TAT) or immigration about this?

I've noticed that a lot of restaurants in Bangkok start out with great food but gradually decline in quality over time.
