What expats recommend in Atlanta
The Atlanta United team store in Atlantic Station is a great place to find gear for the kids, although it's only Atlanta United and Falcons gear, not general soccer. Here's a possible solution for your Oktoberfest fest: Dollar Tree sells 26.5 oz generic beer glasses and Pilsners for ~$1.50 each, which are quite thick and heavy glass. They might not be exactly what you're looking for, but they're a good alternative and were in stock at stores around the area within the past few weeks.
Named after the rapper Ludacris, Ludacrisp is a play on words that showcases peak Atlanta marketing. While $24 for a large bag of apples may seem steep, the pun is worth it, and some even argue that the large bags are a great value, especially considering the regular price of honeycrisp apples.
The St. Regis spa has a butler-drawn bath ritual if you book a longer package, making it feel way more private than the Waldorf setup. It's a quieter alternative to the Waldorf's relaxation lounge, which gets chatty fast.

Veil Beauty Collective in Decatur is amazing! Laurie is really great at consultations and being able to see what it is that you're aiming for. But, bringing some inspo photos is also helpful.

Located in a small shopping center with a laundromat next door, Pastries a Go Go offers a great chocolate walnut fudge with a dense but not dry texture. They have a variety of fudge flavors, but the chocolate walnut is a standout. It's a great spot to grab a treat and enjoy it on the go.

Euclid Avenue Yacht Club is the pinnacle of weird bars in Little 5. It's always some weird stuff going down there in the best way. Love Little 5, and Yacht Club is the best of the neighborhood's weird bars.
The Waluhaje Hotel, a large black-owned and operated hotel on the west side, still exists and was recently redeveloped after serving for many years as the home of 'Job Corps'. The hotel now features an interior layout with a grocery store, laundromat, and ballroom that acted as a jazz club.

Located in Midtown, My Sister's Room is a popular spot for 20s something gay people with good music. It's a great place to go after the parade, with a mixed crowd and a bar-with-dancing atmosphere.
Bears fans tailgate in the Greyhound Station parking lot. It's a convenient spot for fans taking MARTA down from Dunwoody, and it's likely to be filled with fellow Bears supporters. If you're looking to hang out with other fans and pregame before the game, this is a good place to check out.
House of Hookah on 14th street may be your spot. It's chill and I don't think they have alcohol. It's also next door to a mosque so has a decent amount of the habibi crowd every time I've been there.
MAA Midtown is a studio apartment complex that fits the bill and under budget, with a price of $1800/month.
