I'm looking for a sit-down cafe inside Fairview mall, not just the food court. I've been to the mall a few times, but I'm not familiar with the dining options. I'm hoping to find a quiet spot to grab a coffee and catch up on some work.

You can try the cafe on the other end of the mall near the Chinese restaurants. I'm not sure if it's a sit down cafe, but it's a decent spot to grab a coffee.

Lucullus is probably your best bet, but it's always busy. If you're looking for a quieter option, you might want to consider eating outside the mall.

Actually, there's a great little indie cafe called Forest Cafe on Parkway Forest Drive, just south of the mall. It's popular with the neighbourhood residents and students, and it's a great spot to relax and have a coffee.
