Straz Center's Epic Broadway Season Brings Magic to Tampa
As an accountant working in Tampa, I’ve noticed a lot of excitement around the upcoming Straz Center Broadway season. Starting this October, the Straz Center is set to present a fantastic lineup of shows that are sure to enchant both locals and visitors alike. From the beloved Wicked and Beauty and the Beast to the ever-popular Hamilton, the season promises a mix of magic, music, and storytelling that won't disappoint.

The season kicks off with Wicked on October 21, followed by the iconic Hamilton, returning to the stage from October 21 to November 8. Wicked has been a fan favorite, telling the story of Elphaba and Glinda, two witches in Oz, while Hamilton is a cultural phenomenon, blending hip-hop, jazz, and Broadway to tell the story of Alexander Hamilton.
On November 18, the holiday season brings the Cirque du Soleil production ’Twas the Night Before…, a magical experience for the whole family. This show is a fantastic blend of acrobatics, storytelling, and Christmas cheer, making it a perfect way to usher in the holiday spirit.
For fans of classic musicals, December 8-13 will see the return of Death Becomes Her, a Tony-winning hit that combines comedy and drama in a unique way. This show promises to be a thrilling experience, with its complex characters and intricate plot.
