How to get to Sayulita from Tepic airport?

I'm flying into Tepic and want to get to Sayulita without breaking the bank. I'm considering renting a car or taking a taxi and bus.

My former gardener's family has roots in Tepic, where they have relatives. They would occasionally travel from Puerto Vallarta by bus, a journey they made fairly regularly.

I'd take a taxi to the bus terminal and then catch a bus to Sayulita or PV. It'll take about 20-30 minutes to get to the terminal.

Sayulita is a beach town near Tepic. If you're heading to Sayulita, consider taking a bus that doesn't go through the city center, as this route can be quite long. You might try taking a ride-share to Zacualpan or Rincon and then catching a bus to Sayulita or PV.

Take the Pacifico bus from Tepic, it'll drop you off at the highway near Sayulita. From there, you can catch a taxi into town or the Compostela bus.
