Transport to Terminal Marítima from Riu Palace Pacifico at night?

I'm heading to Puerto Vallarta soon and staying at Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico. I have an excursion booked at Terminal Marítima at 11 PM and I'm wondering what's the best way to get there.

When you're at the airport in Puerto Vallarta, you can't pick up an Uber directly from the port, which is federally regulated like the airport. Instead, we crossed the street and ordered one to the Oxxo convenience store. There will also be taxis available outside the Oxxo, and they might be cheaper than the ones waiting right outside the terminal.

We didn't know about the taxi situation at the marina when we booked our Rhythms excursion, and we ended up getting ripped off by a taxi that was already waiting in the lot. We shared the taxi with three other couples heading in the same direction, and the cost was outrageous. We wish we had known about this beforehand.

Be prepared for some back-and-forth driving between Nayarit and Jalisco. However, Ubers work well in the area, and the app functions similarly to what you're used to in your home country. You can even estimate prices and timing in advance using the app.
