I'm looking for a place to take adult beginner salsa classes that are comfortable for people over 50 in the Phoenix area.

On Wednesday and Sunday evenings, the rooftop of Dave and Busters in Tempe offers beginner classes. These classes are taught by Brenda.

You could also try Cavallo Dance Studio, I've heard they're a great place to learn.

If you're interested in beginner classes on weekdays, you can check out the class schedules at a local dance studio's website. The studio has a welcoming atmosphere and allows walk-in students, so you don't need to prepay or sign up in advance.

Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Moon Valley has a lot of 50+ students, they might be a good option for you.

As a beginner with salsa, I recommend starting with mild classes, it's easier to adjust to the rhythm and you can always increase the intensity later on.
