Can I get my full severance pay from the Ministry of Labor in Panama City?

I've been working at a restaurant in Panama City for 2 years without any benefits and I want to change jobs. I went to the Ministry of Labor for guidance and they told me I need to either resign or get fired in order to claim my severance pay. Can the Ministry of Labor make the employer pay me all my severance pay?

You'll need proof of your employment relationship and economic dependence to get help. If your employer paid you a certain amount and sent you messages with instructions, print out those messages and take them to the relevant office. It might take a while.
