What can I do about 6+ months of mice in my co-op apartment despite professional extermination?

I've been dealing with a mouse problem in my apartment since April. It was slow at first catching 1-2 in the first few months but since then I'm up to 11. I've had the building exterminator come in only to put traps and not seal the areas.

Have you considered contacting the city's complaint hotline? It's one of the reasons they exist to handle issues like this.

Seal the gaps yourself. Behind your oven, there's likely a gap that you'll need to access by pulling out the oven and filling it. Don't forget to check other appliances, as mice will find alternative entry points if one is blocked.
