Corporate Job: Office Hours?

I'm a veterinarian in New York and I often have clients who are new to the city. They ask me about the typical work hours of corporate jobs in the city. Can you tell me when you usually arrive and leave your office?

I work in tech. I swing by between 10-11 and leave between 4-7, typically trying to aim around 6.

After leaving my corporate job a year ago, I worked in luxury marketing for many years, often putting in long hours from 9:00am to 6:00 or 7:00pm. As the head of international markets, I was responsible for overseeing global operations, which required early morning and late evening calls, as well as frequent international travel - over 40% of my time was spent abroad. Prior to the pandemic, I worked in the office full-time, but the stress eventually took its toll and I burnt out.
