Where to advertise a niche event in Montreal?

I'm organizing a rather niche event for Halloween, with a target audience of people who are into anime or more geeky things. I'd like to reach younger people, geeks, students, etc. without breaking the bank.

Maybe put up flyers around McGill and Concordia universities? Or send an email to the McGill or Concordia anime club?

You could also consider posting flyers in related geek or anime businesses, such as comic book stores or anime shops.

If you make a post about it, I'd love to see the details of your event, such as the date and time, and then I'll be able to get the word out.
