I've been to Teotihuacán a few times, but I'm planning to go with some friends who are visiting from the States and they'll be relying on me for transportation. They'll be leaving around 2:30 pm and I want to make sure they can get an Uber back to Mexico City.

I called for a pickup around 12pm one summer afternoon, and the driver arrived within 2 minutes. This is definitely feasible, especially if you're leaving early. However, be aware that traffic on the highway can be quite congested, so it's essential to factor that into your plans.

My partner and I visited two weeks ago and ordered a ride at 2:30 pm without any issues. If you place your order a few hours before closing at 5 pm, it should be okay. Just ensure you have a stable data connection, as the app can be temperamental in rural areas.
