My partner and I are celebrating our anniversary in early November and are attending the Pokémon event. We chose Hotel Caterdral because of its high reviews and location next to the Zócalo, Templo Mayor, and Catedral Metropolitana.

This hotel has a clean and calm atmosphere, reminiscent of classic hotels. The minimalist design of the rooms is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Centro Historico. While it may not be ideal for those seeking a romantic or whimsical experience, it's a great choice for those who appreciate a functional and uncluttered space.

The Pokémon event is held at Perisur Mall, which is not conveniently located near your hotel. A trip by Uber would take around an hour, depending on traffic conditions. Staying in Centro has its advantages for sightseeing, but navigating the city by car can be challenging due to frequent street closures and congestion.

If you can access the nearest Metrobus Line 1 stop, you can then use public transportation to reach Perisur, minimizing the impact of traffic. This option is available regardless of whether you take an Uber or public transit to get to the stop.
