I'm taking my two kids to Mexico City this coming weekend for a short stay. We'll be staying in the Roma Norte area and would like some restaurant recommendations for lunch on Friday and Saturday.

To avoid the majority of visitors, it's best to visit the Biblioteca in the morning. In your case, it will be better to go after check-in. It closes at 19:30, so you have enough time to visit it.

The Anthropology museum is massive and exhausting. It has multiple buildings with impressive displays, but limited English support for the exhibits.

For lunch on Saturday, you could try El Cardenal, which is located near the Art Museum. Alternatively, La Casa de Toño is a good option for a more low-key meal. Your kids might prefer the Popular Art Museum over the other two places, as it's close by.
