Spec's on Smith Street

Spec's on Smith Street has a walk-in humidor and usually stocks some oddball European packs behind the counter. They are a great option for those looking for fancy or exotic cigarettes, especially for those who want to explore unusual brands.

Memorial Park loop

Memorial Park loop is a favorite spot to run. It offers a loop for running and diversions to the Eastern Glades and the Land Bridges, making it a great option for those looking for a varied route. It's also worth noting that the Heights hike and bike trail on Heights Blvd is a quieter option with flat terrain and easy access to the White Oak Bayou stretch near Stude Park, making it a great alternative for those who prefer a less crowded route.

Texas Mattress Makers

Texas Mattress Makers has a showroom at Lockwood and Navigation and offers firm mattresses you can compare. I can’t say whether they’ll match the Vietnamese mattress you liked, but it’s an option to try in person.
