I've been recommended to stay in Hoi An for its peace and charm. I've been to the Hoi An market and found it difficult to browse without being approached by sellers. I've also had similar experiences at clothing shops.

Sellers in Hoi An can be quite persistent, even when they're browsing social media. If you're looking for international brands, you might find some Adidas Originals in the old town, but be aware that quality can vary.

For a more local shopping experience, consider visiting Ba Le market. You can also try some of the shops along Ly Thuong Kiet street, which often carry a variety of items.

I had a similar experience at a tailor, they tried to sell me a cashmere material for 150 USD.

I'm going to guess it's not real cashmere, but a polyester-rayon blend that mimics cashmere.
