I've had bloodwork done numerous times in the last six months as I've been trying to conceive / experienced pregnancy loss. Ever since YourHealthNS changed to displaying bloodwork results 24h after they are available to your provider, I find my results are usually there within a few days of me having the blood drawn (sometimes sooner). I had bloodwork done last Tuesday (a week now) at the Woodlawn medical blood collection site … and it’s still visible not on YHNS. Has anyone ever experienced a delay like this? (I am stressed because this was my first set of labs with HCG to confirm a pregnancy after my first positive home test since my miscarriage).

I've experienced delays with IWK send-out before, particularly with more specific panels. It's not uncommon for the wait to feel longer due to added processing time. In my case, a recent round of blood work at Woodlawn took 8 days to process. I was anxious about the wait, but it turned out the sample was simply waiting in a queue.

I've had varying wait times for my blood work results in the past. For example, a test in late September took 7 days to appear, while another in July was available in just 3 days. Keep an eye on the app, and the results should show up soon.

If you're concerned about the delay, you might consider contacting the IWK perinatal centre directly to ask about the status of your results. They may be able to provide you with more information or even share the relevant numbers.
