Proper way to recycle used candle jars in Halifax?

I've got a few used candle jars I'd like to recycle without returning to the company they were bought from. I'm not looking to upcycle them.

Place them in the recycle bin, and they should be collected with the regular household waste.

I checked the HRM recycles app, and it confirms that candle jars can be recycled in the regular bin.
