I've tried to order a Blink camera from Amazon, but it says it can't be shipped to Puerto Rico. Does anyone know why?

Lithium batteries in certain products are classified as Class 9 and can't be sent via cargo because they can cause a runaway fire, which is why they can't be shipped to Puerto Rico.

If you bring the security camera to Puerto Rico, will you be able to program it without any issues?

Yes, you'll be able to program it without any restrictions.

You can't buy a Blink camera that's not battery-powered, and it's not just about the battery.

You can purchase security cameras at the same price at a store located in Caguas. If you know a military or veteran, they can get them for you and you won't have to pay import duties until a certain date.

I'm from Caguas and my mom has access to a store that sells security cameras. I'll go there tomorrow! Thanks!

Other cameras might arrive, but it's not just the lithium battery. Amazon is rare in shipping its devices to Puerto Rico. Maybe with the new distribution center in Dorado, things will change.

Amazon doesn't ship any of its electronic products to Puerto Rico, including Blink cameras, for some reason. It's not because of the battery.
