I opened an MBank account a few months ago and they said there would be no maintenance fees, but I've been charged 25 Dhs every month. Now my account is in the red by 250 Dhs. I'm worried about what will happen if I don't pay this.

Make sure to check the bank's fees section, which includes a maintenance fee of 25 AED unless you maintain a balance of 500 AED in the account or make a transaction every 90 days. I recently discovered that the bank has changed its terms again, so it's essential to verify the information. Ignoring the issue is not recommended, as it may lead to a report being filed with the AECB and negatively impact your credit score.
