El Zonte Sees Expansion in Pediatric Care Through Clubfoot Surgeries

The program, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health, the Rotary Club of San Salvador Cuscatlán, and Healing The Children, aims to address the needs of children with orthopedic conditions and improve their mobility and quality of life.

Surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, therapists, and orthotists are working together to evaluate and treat dozens of patients. Pre-surgery consultations by specialists from Spain and the United States help tailor the treatment to each child’s specific needs.
